Can someone please explain this plant to me. As you can see in the 3 pics, it has 2 types of leaves on the same plant!! And no, it's not 2 different plants, I've taken one out to actually confirm that the 2 leaves are both coming from the same plant.

The single leaf (i.e looks like a normal plain old leaf) was how I got the plant. The plant was not sold completely submerged, but with only the roots in the water. (FFW sells ALL his plants this way!)As the plant has grown, the leaves have come out like the spider web type leaf.

Ja... The safest way to transport plants is to grow them emmersed. IE: Out of water. They survive longer in transit like this. That is the only difference in the growth.

There are some plants, like this hygro, that look COMPLETELY different in their emmersed and immersed forms.

Yeah, it does grow very well... but it is directly under my light, receiving fertz through the water, as well as a tablet in it's roots... only thing short it the CO2 and it'll grow out the tank!
