Hi Guys,

Thanks for the suggestion, Gert, to hold the meeting at my home, but I think my wife would have a heart attack, so this is not going to work out.

We could meet in Stellenbosch in the Biochem department, but this would mean that we would largely be without fishes, which would be dissappointing as everyone wants fishes or aquatic plants when they come to such a meeting. It would also be quite a drive for those from Cape Town which is not optimal.

I have a connection at the Two Oceans Aquarium and I want to see if we can't perhaps meet there. I have been on a behind the scenes tour before, and I think this would be interesting for everyone to see, lots of pumps and pipes and filters and things. Let me see what I can organize, but no promises as this is always associated with security and insurance issues nowadays and they may pull one of these moves on me. What I could then perhaps do is give a talk on what ever topic you might want and then we could go somewhere at the waterfront to eat and meet socially. Henk, as one of the sponsors can certainly chip in, I would say........ :suspicious:

Oh and Trevor, I believe that Henk now makes a vegetarian boerewors roll from boerewors that contains the Spirulina Omega One flakes, apparently this is a hit in Alaska amongst the salmon there......:blink1:

I have to speak at a meeting somewhere during the day on 23 MAy in Pta and can basically go back immediately, but I want to visit a few other people then as well, so I was thinking of staying over on the evening of 23 May. I know that is a Monday which is not so good, because it is a normal week night, but I get to JNB every three months or so, so we can try the next time again as well.

Come to think of it, what would most probably be best would be if I came up on the Saturday before that and gave a talk on the evening of the 21st?

Henk, how about your place for the meeting, met Eish..... and please boet, we know that you cannot cope without a decent stuk of steak daily, so don't worry about the vegetarian story.... we know that is a myth.... where is the Cape conference to meet then (if super rugby can use this term, why can't we, I am hell, who do they think they are? Just fifteen adult men on a field versus fifteen other adult men, really).

Hi Henk. I think It would be a great way for you as a sponsor and a Director at Mico-lift and Omega foods to put a presentation together and throw in a few goodies into Hamper for us hobbyists. Effective advertising and Brand awareness and consolidation.
