They stunning but do grow to about 16cm
So I agree you need at least a 5/6 foot
At least 5ft for a pair
We have always found ours to be peaceful and never had problems with them picking on Ray's even with pups but tank size could be the reason
We have found tapajos to be a bit of a problem though

Half of the value of a thread is keeping track of things for ones own sake, cause you easily forget these things and a journal helps. If it bores some people if I update too regularly, so be it. But often there’s something of interest/relevance to at least one person.

Go ahead and update. We would also like to see your progress! like @A new day said, it helps you keep track of your own progress, don't worry about these who find it boring...There is always someone that will find it interesting, especially the newer members!

So very true, I agree is nice to keep track just as long as no pricing is added. That will make me cry I'm sure

Update on the neolamprologus brichardi grow out tank

I sold all the fry to my LFS yesterday, they will keep them until they big enough to sell.

I do have the two parents still, have offered them to @TetraJacques if they fit into what he's planing.

Then there 3 foot tank is actually a modified sump for another tank so it will be going back there once they all gone

And the last one on my big tank

This tank went though a rough patch since the last update. I had to rescape the tank twice. The first time fish where getting stuck between the glass and rock work so I moved it over ( lost 1 neon tetra to this) and the second time my snowball pleco got stuck inside a rock. Had to use a teaspoon to get him out :( He's in QT now recovering from that ordeal.

Then I lost another neon tetra to what I thought was internal parasites so I moved all the neons to QT but eveyone else is fat and eating well not sure it was parasites now?? Any advice please? I think I'm going to sell these guys now, I recently found out they more of a cold water fish so my 28c tanks aren't suited for them long term.

The new additions from QT last time the rummy nose, kribs etc are doing well and have good coloration so I'm happy :):)

Expect the prictola catfish he became a bully apparently he has something against plecos  He's living with the neons now and they don't bother each other so I'll add him to the planted tank when I get there;)

I think my essay is over now, enjoy the read:tt2:
Pics to follow soon when I get good lighting

Could it be neon tetra disease? Yep they are not as easy as one would think, hey? Cardinals would do better at that temp?
