who uses LED's in a planted tank?

    Well if you check dorry pets out we are using radions and kessils over planted tanks with great success.

    Suppose the blue night light in the boyu 550 does not count ... thing is the lm/watt are starting to overtake that of CFL's and other light systems. For me it needs to be cost affective not only the initial capital expense but also the running cost. Control circuitry, MTBF and reduction in efficiency over time are all factors to consider before I even look at the cool factor and boy some of them LED lights are really awesome.
