Who has got the BIGGEST one??

I was just sitting here at work and wondered who was sitting with the BIGGEST (volume) tank (main) that is running at the moment?? And a list of equipment running on it

 

hahaha this topic really made me think bad thoughts . I believe its not the size that counts but the way u use it my biggest is 616L i know some guys have alot bigger

 

That would be Henk, he's running a 2500 X 800 X 800... with a 1200 sump...

 

Henk = 2500 x 900 wide x 800 high , 12mm glass that's 1741 liters of water in the tank alone

 

Well, I've got the biggest equipment :0, but with regards to my Tanks are not so big at the mo!

Would think that Henks Tank would be a strong contender!?

CAN YOU IMAGINE DOING A WATER CHANGE ON THAT!!!! I would attach a pool pump to empty it

 

naw - water change takes about an hour

 

Would that include a good vacuum of the gravel, as well as trimming of the plants? Or just a quick WC?

 

no plant in there any more - but yes that includes a vac. on the 25th my Mh lights will arrive and then we start the conversion to planted tank

That's cool Henk. Dale mentioned to me when I saw him in December that you were going to be re-scaping your big tank.

Was hoping to pop in and see your set-up, but time did not permit it.
