My fish has white "fluff" on his head and tail. I want to put salt in but how much salt do I put in for a 30l tank.

    Thanks,

I'm sure this has been mentioned before, but just using salt as a general treatment can be dangerous. While it is a good solution to fungal issues and certain parasites, an increase in salinity can be detrimental to not only the affected fish itself, but it's tankmates and the setup as a whole.

Ideally you'll want to isolate the fish, perhaps in a hospital tank if you can. This prevents spread of the disease, and allows you to treat the affected fish only, without exposing unaffected fish to medications and other chemicals.

Also, can you give us some more details about the tank? Filtration water changes, temperature etc? Any fighting among the fish? What kind of fish has the 'fluff'?

Finally, if possible, a photo will be of great help in determining what kind of ailment we're dealing with here.

    Regards

Only two endler guppies so it's kinda isolated. I got them this morning from Slojo.

    99.99% it's a fungal infection

@Slojo: It is the Endler male. The female seemed fine. I went to the shops today and bought some fungal meds. That should do the trick.
