Ok so after a year of doing guppies, mollie and platies which ym family insited I get I have decided it's time for a chance. My tank have become overstocked and I'm hauling buckets of water up and down trying to maintain over stocked tanks because every I see a livebaerer give birth I end up saving them so that my daughter won't freak out. Tonight I was doing water changes 9 in the evening because nitrates were getting high again. Some of the mollies are nipping my guppies tails could figure it out untill I got one in the act and now I have to stress about fin rot which Ihave done lately. Al of this is taking the fun out of fish keeping. So in a moment I realised it's time to do what I want in my fish tanks since I'm the one who is tanking care of the fish. I decided I'm going to get rid of most of the guppies and only keep the ones I really want. All the black mollies need to go.

My guppies that I'm keeping will be kept in my 2ft tank and no more saving the fry, I will try to add some decent lights as possible and make it a planted tank......maybe. I'm going to rescape my betta tank with loads of plant and a nice piece of driftwood. I have my kribs in my 200l tank right now with only Sparky in it. I want to get some schooling fish after I have sold most of my fish but can't decided. Keep in mind I really want to keep this tank under stocked so that maintenance will be easier. My 200l tank is more of a tall square shape.
I'm considering getting a school if 10 or 15 of:
Tiger barbs or Black widow tetras or Leopard Danios

Tiger barbs can be fin nippers as well have you considered rummy nose tetras or white clouds they are realy underrated but look amazing in a school

kanner I'm aware that tiger barbs can be fin nippers, I'm not going to keep any more guppies or anything with flowy fins in my 200l tank. I have decided my 200l will now be the tank which I cand put in what makes me happy. I had tiger barbs ages ago and I really loved them and coukd spend hours watching them.
I will look into rummy nose tetras could work. I think white clouds do better in cooler fast flowing waters not sure though.

    Harlequin Rasbora.
    Galaxy Rasbora.
    Threadfin Rainbows.

Of the three the Harlequins are definitely the more colourful, and stay together.

The closest my rosy barbs come to schooling is when they are all on the glass begging for food

Hubby and me were watching some Harlequin Rasboras today and I were considering them. They are quite pretty. Question is I need fish rpthat can handle Kribs

Sounds like my guppies theyball see food when they see me.

Haven't seen threadfin in any lfs before, don't really know them either, so I will have to research them.

Yeah yèah, if I could keep them alive I def wouldn't say no but I'm not sure I could lol

What do you guys think of pearl Danios, love galaxy Rasboras but I think they are a bit small to survive kribs. Need something that is robust enough to survive kribs.

Our lfs is sellinf Leopard Danios for R15 each which means I can buy a nice big school of maybe 15 or so.......

I like tetras (neons and glowlights) in a school, more than 10 to be precise.

Will do that, luckily I don't plan on breeding them so I won't have to worry about more i breeding.

    I
also like neons but not sure if they can handle the kribs, they tend to be a bit more skittish.

Never had Black widow teteas or leopard danios before, so I'm taking on whatbI read that they should be able to handle the kribs. Hsd some tiger barbs few years ago, and I thoroughly enjoyed them, could watch their antics for hours chasing each other and I new esach ones personality. My fav was the leader of the pack lol.
