Where'd my Danio go..?

Every day, when I get home, I feed my fish. For the record my 1.2m community tank has my beloved JD and a few Danio and White Cloud. I have to feed them in a certain order to prevent the JD eating all the food that's meant for the Danio. He gets Hikari Cichlid Bio Gold, and the Danio get Tetra Prima.

So, today, I drop the first Hikari pellet in, and one Danio goes for it... Unfortunately, so does Jack...

After I saw this, I decided to count my fish. I used to have 10 Danio and 10 White Cloud. At the moment, I've got 7 Danio and 1 White Cloud... Now I know why he seems to be growing so fast!

Not really, the JD is only 6cm long and my Danio are all fully grown... Rather kinda impossible if you asked me an hour ago!

Haha! Yeah he keeps to the back of the tank now... I think he's avoiding me... Probably feeling guilty. The best part is, 5 minutes later he's circling the feeding ring still waiting for food!

Thanks bud! You aint seen nothing yet... Canon SX20IS with a UV and CPL filters shot on good ol' AUTO. Didn't have time to play with the aperture. He's a bit photo shy this one...

 

I'm doing daily fish counts now... Just to see if it's becoming a habit... (sigh) I have no idea what tank mates I'm going to chuck in with him... Seems like he sees everything other than the rocks and substrate as food!
