Where to get a tank?

    Hey Guys,

    I am wanting to get another tank the problem is every time I go to my LPS I walk away spending a fortune.

    Is there any place that I can get a tank that might be affordable? My wife is going to kill me if i spend to much money?

    I am in JHB

    Cool Thanks the problem is that most people on there are selling there tanks for the same price i can get it new, a 2 foot for R350.00.

    There is a guy that advertises in the junkmail that he builds tanks and he is talking from R100 upwards. Don't know what size it is. Give him a call. He is from Lenasia

    Wingman... there's a guy in Mulderdrift called Fish Fantasy. Give hin a try. He makes them himself, EXCELLENT prices.

    Unfortunately I don't have any contact details, and I've just seen their website is down.

    Why not try this

    Wingman – how do you feel about building your own tank? A mate of mine build one a few years ago out of wood and glass due to the high cost of larger all glass tanks, and it worked out well. Have a look at the following link: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/diy_plywood_aquarium.php
