Where to buy tanks in PTA / JHB

Hello Everybody

I`m new to TASA, but i`ve had tropical fish since a young age, but due to university i had to stop 7 years ago. Now i`ve discovered TASA and i'm burning to do a quality planted amazon tank due to the excellent tanks of TASA members.

I have to buy everything from scratch, so my question is: Where can i buy a quality 5ft or bigger tank in the JHB / PTA area? I`m currently working in rustenburg, so PTA would be preferable.

I don't live in or anywhere near Joburg, but I suggest you try looking around for second hand tanks. You'll be quite surprised since quite a few are in good condition, come with the neccesary extras and can be an excellent price. There may even be a few members around here who are willing to part with their tank for a good deal

Otherwise you can check around sites like Gumtree or your local papers' classifieds sections and see if anything tickles your fancy there
