    They are fairly common, and should turn up now and then

    Unfortunately I don't. I am not in SA

    @pierreschoonraad has some.
    Perhaps he will be able to point you in the right direction. But don't think he has been online in a while.

    Ah, ok.
    Most lfs have them here.

    They are quite easy to breed.
    So anyone who has a colony may have a small money earner.

    I think people get an email when you mention them. Hoping @Supa Max stick around and breed shell dwellers

    The problem isn't breeding them, they breed like guppies, the problem is catching the little buggers. Mine hide in their shells and I have to remove their shells to get them out, which leads to the next problem is that u fast run out of shells

    You can get wild caught from time to time. I have occies and multis but not selling for now

    With regards to removing them from their shells one can place shells off the substrate and they eventually leave home. I usually place the shells on my inlet sponge on the cannister filter.

    You don't do it any the same tank. You can even do it in a temporary tub or bucket. You can use a pot inverted to raise the shells of the bottom.

    Mine aren't too bad.
    The Multies are far more aggro.

    I know Samaki Kings will be receiving a new batch of wild caught Tanganyikans shortly.

    I read somewhere that for their size they are one of the most aggressive fish around
