Whats your Other hobby?

Well, been reading between the lines lately and I've noticed some of you have some other hobbies aswell.

So, spill the beans, what do you do in your free when your not next to the tank?:idea:

 

I hold a PPL and i lecture at the SAAF youth development program

 

Photography - although I don't have much time to do that lately

 

I fix cars that should have gone to the rubbish dump instead.

Ok, I love horses. Been riding for about 17 years. I do endurance riding.

 

Okay I am o copier technician and when I do get a chance I love to fish I am really into Fly fishing and into Bass so you see FISH FISH FISH and of course I love playing computer games witch happens to be next to my ........ Yip you guest it next to my tanks :bigsmile::bigsmile:

 

Ohh nom nom nom, I love a good game or 2, especially network gaming, I love BattleField2 and the old fav, Counterstrike!

 

I enjoy most aspects of fishing especially fly fishing and saltwater..

 

Ha sounds like kribs is also a gamer..

Im really into quad and dirt bike riding, playing soccer, girls(pretty sure this one counts) also proper fishing, hunting, gaming and partying... Oh and am also getting into the whole horse riding thing.

 

I must say Ruan counterstrike is great, myself and Gareth26 and few of our other friends LAN often.

Great to see there is also a few fellow fly fishers :bigsmile:

 

Has anyone ever played F.E.A.R 2 what a game !!!

Hardcore gamer here as well, moved away from the PC in recent years mostly because it's my day job, and I don't fancy sitting in front of the thing after hours, although that is a lie as well because I sit on the forums all night long.

First "modern" console was a Sega Dreamcast, then Playstation 2, then Xbox 1, then Nintendo Gamecube, then Xbox 360, and then a Nintendo Wii.

Haven't exactly bought a Playstation 3 because there's just enough there for me to justify the cash, but I have regular access to one if I desperately need it.

And like an idiot my three main hobbies are also pretty damn expensive, number two being motorcycles.

Always been into bikes, but only managed to buy my own in 2004 a Suzuki GSX-R600. Blissful ignorance told me that because it looks pretty it must be good, what a mistake and it took me two years to be honest with myself that it wasn't the right bike for me.

So I bought a Buell Lightning XB9SX at the end of 2006, and haven't looked back since.

I am somewhat of a freelance (read work for free ) journo, so I guess writing should also be listed as my other hobby, although it ties in mostly with my love of games and bikes as that's all I really write about.

 

Nice thread Ruan Always nice to get to know more about eachother.

I am a girly-girl, so my other major interest at this stage is studying beauty therapy and health / nutrition. Still have a long way to go (part-time) but enjoying it.

Otherwise, I love love love reading a good novel, and aspire to one day write something in my spare time. (spare time..?? What's that?)
And when it comes to books, the scarier, the better!!

I'll PM you the details Ruan - it's a lovely course: you get a full diploma, recognized internationally, and you can do it in your own time. Will take me a few years though - it's quite serious stuff.
