The only way to do it in a planted tank= food in net, net near glass...

Eskimo I had never thought of trying that, sounds like it could be a good option to try - Thanks.

2time: What I usually do is use 2 large nets. Put your first net in the tank and keep it still. The second net put on the other side of the fish you want to catch (i.e. the fish is between 2 nets which are far apart at this stage). SLOWWWLLLY move your one net towards the other which you are still holding still. Guide the fish into the net which you aren't moving. The trick is to move slowly and with patience. I've had loads of success doing it this way and the fish generally don't even know that they are moving into a net :)

I'd try eskimo's way as well though....sounds like an idea as well although you may need a little more patience as I guess a few fish will dive into the food :)

    Good luck.

6 Pack of your favourate beer, small bass rod, 3kg breakstrenght line, no.3 Diatchi hook and an earthworm..... Naw, think that might stress the fish out LOL. Rather stick to Eskimo's and Veegals method

Ha ha nice one capering for that size of fish it might just work...

With the food way you leave the net in the tank for awhile if the fish are shy, just make sure the handel is proped up so you can easely grab it...

But if you dont have plants and stuff to get in the way try veegals way it would be faster..
