Some of the buce start looking very similar if they are only growing in the aquarium, Catherinae does not have that problem - it is very distinct and the leaf shape is special. It is truly amazing to see a shop with this variety . Late 2018 you could only get some of this stock and it was spotty at best, what @ShrimpNation is showing us as stock looks proper and healthy.

And because they need it !!!

I remember Banana plants from like 25 years ago, never could manage to keep plants alive back then. On what level will you be able to courier or we can collect?

 

Definitely interested in those banana plants - my dwarf lily kicked the bucket after a pruning that was a touch too extreme. That and some bolbitis

 

Hoping that the regulations would change that will allow us to ship in Level 4, but as it currently stands I can only send out non essentials in level 3
There might be some more updates next week so we hoping its good news.

Can vouch for this supplier. Have bought a couple times and the overall experience as well as quality is brilliant.

 

Plant update: Getting in a tiny amount of new plants this week, will be the last batch for quite some time due to import restrictions. So if you want anything, let me know so that I can reserve them.
There is a rumor regarding an update this upcoming week so hoping to start sending out some plants then.

Also getting in a fresh batch of Akadama Substrate, and some new crushed black lavarock (10l bags). If anyone in is interested let me know as I am confirming numbers this week.

 

Good to see Akadama available in JHB ... if you are a shrimper this is well worth a try. In low maintenance style planted tanks it does well at keeping water parameters in check while being a substrate that does not tend to compact over time. Man those plants look tempting.

I come with great news!

New regulations has blessed us with the ability to ship everything again.
First batch of plants and livestock will be going out on Monday. Busy with full stocktaking tonight and will post some updated pictures for those interested.

Just a tiny update, been a bit quite, but thats due to the huge amount of orders that flooded in after shipping opened up again.

More Akadama arrived and finally got 2 sizes of the black lavarock substrate in.
Setting up a tank with it soon, so will show it off in the tank then.
