    hey guys so i thought i would post an update on my tank and how she has boomed

    @Quue - The tank is looking good. Actinic lighting looks cool (can't wait to fit mine to my tank). Congrats!

    the substrate is a bit of a DIY its got PFM at the bottom with a fine cat litter and capped with black volcanic gravel with a few normal fine white gravel

    @MarcHawk- thanks man it makes the world of difference... and all that growth and im still using T8s need to up grade but that will come very soon

    Don't stress about your lighting. Loads of people grow plants under T8's. Your plants seem to be happy so you must be doing something right :bigsmile:

    Just my opnion. But I wouldn't have the white stones in a circle as you have done it.
    If they were more random, it might look a bit more natural.

    Looks good otherwise.

    If im not mistaken the stones are modeled after the stone Hedge....

    Stonehenge looks awesome.... i was hoping to be the first to notice lol... what did you use to glue the stones together.... i've tried to use hot glue but that stuff breaks down in water after sometime. great tank

    @HOT SAUCE -well i didnt build them my girlfriend did and i think she used a hot glue gun and silicone...but i do know it tool some time just too get them to stick and you have to have a cool head or frustration will arise... but im pretty happy everyone is understanding my theme:rofl:
