What Plants would work

Hi guys. i want to re-start my nano tank as i have withdrawal symtoms from not having a tank .
so heres my questions. tank is a 1 foot cube with flourite and 16-20 watts of light. want to go low tech i.e no c02 (pressurised or otherwise).

what plants could i grow well (note slow growth is fine with me). is there any foreground plant that woul grow without c02.

 

Nice high light...so include a couple of High light stems that will grow fast and need lotsof trimming to reduce nutrient levelsd and so keep algae down... Thinking of some Rotalla species...
As for a foreground plant - try get some Echinodorus quadricostatus... Maybe a Crypt or so for midground planting...

 

thanks yeah i was thinking of rotalla as well for the foreground was thinking maybe Staurogyne repens if i can get any that is. cant get much of anything here in durbs so will need to check with some members

 

Yeah - Staurogene would work nicely as well....

 

excellent atleast im on the right track somewhat. then will only have debate the fish selection. sad thing is that with a small tank wouldnt be able to keep my favourite fish (clown loach )
