    Oh okay.. hmmm.. always had an idea that Vallisneria is a smaller plant.. quite nice.. :D

    Sorry for the dumb question, but I'm really not clued up on plants.

    Must really get some but its so scarce at the stores i'v been to in jhb,in durban i used to buy them for 5c a bunch

    5c a bunch! Here in pe they sell for R15 a plant....

    Quite pricey, here they are R5 a stem.
    It looks like Vallisneria americana. The ones in the photo are quite small, as mine grows longer than a meter in length.

    that was back in the day mind you i dont know what they go for now.used to buy from a lfs i knew well he had them growing in his breeding ponds stuff grew like a weed

    They do grow like weeds tho so dunno why they so expensive here :)

    i got some.. not alot though.. will probably be sellable in the next month or less? also the corkscrew type (IMO much nicer).. i'll let them go for R10 for 2 stems? what u think? in no time u wll have LOADS.. :p
