What kind of fish is this?

    Hi there. I bought two of this kind of fish the other day for my community tank. The pet shop had them with other fish that I knew and so I knew it would be fine with my tank. However, the name that the pet shop guy told me it was doesn't seem to match any searches. Do any of you know what it is?

    Looks like a gourami,they are pretty peaceful but can get very big if they aren't the dwarf species.Just don't put males together because they will fight.

    Hey, that is such a stunning little guy. It's a dwarf Honey Gourami, only get to about 6cm. They can be cheeky, but as a general are very placid and easy going. When it comes to breeding time these guys get the most amazing colours. The body goes a very dark golden colour and the underside turns almost black. Very stunning to see...
    @DCWarHound, you are right in saying the males become very quarrelsome, but this looks like a fairly young male.
