Seachem for pretty much everything but I have heard guys say their Discus get heavy breathing after adding water treated with Seachem Prime.

Marltons food and water treatment. Their stuff works well. Fish healthy and growing fast on the food.

Can't live without my Eheim Jager heaters.... Got 5 300watt units. I have run them dry knocked them and even dropped one on concrete. I think maybe they are indestructible....

Also a big Hikari food fan. All my cichlids colors has brighten up hugely and everyone's condition and liveliness has multiplied 10x over.

And my opple T5 lights. Excellent value for money and they do the job just as well as much more expensive units. (If not maybe a bit better.... :) )

Fluval and aquaclear filters. Boyu sponge filters.
    Opple T5s and eveready CFLs
Mix between Tetra and Prof D's foods.
    Seachem filter media.
Assortment of powerheads and heaters though.

For hardware I'm not too fussy but food and lights is a different story. All my fishes love their Ocean Nutrition foods, dry and frozen. Ferts and treatments are Microbe Lift. Lights I've turned to LED with Beamworks.

I'm a tetra and seachem man for sure. Marltons food is a bit dodgy but their other products are good and normally more affordable, I also like the little measuring cup thingamajiggy that comes with their products.

I must say resun internal pumps are the best to me and than atman return pumps. When it comes to food definitely hikari but my fish seem to like tetra aswell. With filtermedia and lights im not to concerned.

Tetra food has never let me down - there are enough types to cater for whatever fish I'm trying to feed, and I've always had good growth and colour.

As far as filters go, Eheim has been my favourite. Although I have used a few other brands that have been okay or pretty good, Eheim hasn't given me an issue to date.

In any other category - such as heaters, air pumps, chemicals - I've otherwise just used what was cheapest.

I am not too fussy when it comes to tank hardware, because the reality most of the stuff get made in the exact same place once they leave the factory they just get branded with different names. Fish food and water treatments are a different story though, Seachem all the way.
