    Hi
I've currently setup a 25l nano tank with bogwood, vallisneria, anubias, java- fern and moss, and some star grass. Trying to get some glosso growing as well. What fish should I get? Galaxy rasboras and psuedomugils are either too expensive or not available. Was thinking maybe a school of 10 white clouds perhaps? Or any fish that will stay small or maybe a pair of fish. Lighting consists of 1x 11w t5, 2x 18w energy saver globes all 6500K.

    Hey,

Whiteclouds would work great (no heater - plants grow better in cooler water). Galaxy's cost between R22.50 and R30 each in the shops around CPT....

    check these out Microrasbora Erythromicron...

when shrimp become legal, hopefully next year, then you should consider some Crystal Red Shrimp "CRS" for your nano!

Community tank with REALLY SMALL fish. They grow no bigger than 2.5cm in length... Theyyy could become a nice snack for the other guys...

OK.. then I will HAVE to pass on this one. Sorry Dolphin. My Angels are way too big. And the way electricity costs are going, I can't afford YET ANOTHER tank!

best kept in a species aquarium in a school...

considering its really small size of 20-25mm it is not suited to a typical community aquarium but I imagine it would be fine with similar types from the "microrasbora" genus such Galaxy Rasboras (aka Celestial Pearl Danios)...

In my opinion these make a more attractive display than the Galaxies which are so raved about and command a higher price tag.

MTS on the horizon, not long now...
