What Electrical Store? T8 6500k Daylight Tubes

Im looking for a Electrical Shop in the Cape Town area where I am guaranteed to get T8 6500k Daylight tubes.

If anybody in CT has got from an Electical Shop in CT, Could you please PM me their name and location.

They have the FL 18/w/T8/865 Cool Daylight tubes in stock. Are these the correct ones I am looking for? Please help, I clueless when it comes to lights.

FL I assume is for flourescent, 18 watt with T8 fitting. 865 refers to colour. 8 for intensity and the 65 for colour rating ie 6500k/daylight. If your ballasts are indeed 18w, then they sound perfect. How much are they?

 

The guy said, R32.50 excluding vat, so if my maths are correct the cost would be R37.05

I am in contact with him and waiting for him to recommend the best tube he has stock of for freshwater aqauarium plants. He sound like he knows what his talking about. Will keep you updated.

 

Ok...So ive ordered 2 X Sylvania AQUASTAR FL 18w T8's and will pick it up later on. I hope they are going to increase my plant growth as my current lighting is a disgrace to say the least.lol

Update...So I have installed the two Sylvania Aquastar T8's and what a difference from the previous tubes I had. Now to watch the plant growth!
