Hi! I am not sure if this is in the right section, so if it needs to be moved please do so. I have now had my tank and fish for about 5 months and they are doing so well. I currently have an extremely limiting 30l tank but I have managed to keep everything alive and in perfect health for the time so far.

However, I have now decided I want to ramp things up a bit. So, I am now looking at getting a bigger tank but due to limitations on places to keep it I can't get much bigger than about 100l. I was thinking maybe 75cm x 35cm and then 40cm height. What I would like to know is, if I were to get that custom made for me, can anyone give me a rough estimate on how much that would cost? Even very rough would be perfect. I imagine I'd need about 8mm glass?

    Hope you can help me!

Rough amount i would say R400 or so in 6mm. If you want to go 8mm just to be safe you looking at around R150 more. Depends on where you go. I paid R750 for a 945 x 325 x 500 in 8mm incl bracing and overflow box.

Recently paid R350 for a 75 x 48 x 48.... 6mm base, front and back.... 4mm sides as it is only going to have 25cm water depth... So Troy,s guesstimate of round R400 for 6mm all round sounds fair.... Increase you water volume by just adding a cm or two to hight and width(if space allows...) - shouldnt be a big differance in the eventual price....

perfect thanks guys! I am thinking maybe I'll try make it a 40 width and height 45. That would take the volume to 150l which would be awesome. But I am limited as to where I can put it so I just need to check all my final measurements and work with that.
