Yesterday while Draining my display tank and getting all the gravel out I found 3 weird things. The tank had no fish for about a week now . First i Found a Spiny eel when I scooped the gravel out . I had 3 . 2 I moved to another tank and i was sure that this one jumped out and was cat food because i did not see him for about 2 months. then when i siphoned the water out of my last chamber of my built in sump I looked in the bucket to find a Mollie about 4 months old. I had taken an adult molly out of the tank 3 months earlier so i guess the one fry stayed alive with the 30 convicts thanks to the sump. and also in the sump I found a red worm/leach type of thing but only one.

Anyone else have weird stories? And yes I'm bored.

I once found a packet of "smarties" in the tank, thanx to kids visiting. lol
My wife was frantically looking for it, but had to go get a new supply. I don't think the "hormones" would have done anything negative. Some even say it is good for potplants!

I once found a small colony of tiny jumping insects living on top of a monstrous Cabomba plant that was breaking through the surface.

I've actually been fortunate to find the odd FISH in my tank. Rare occurances these days... what with all the planted tanks that are going around. I think there are more tanks being set up with plants (with fish being abandoned to a plastic container for a few days) than an actual tank with fish in!!

    Jokes aside..

I found a preying mantis drinking water out of mine the other day. I posted a pic of it in the first month's competition.

i was sitting on the edge of the pond and saw some thing swimming in it ,thought it was a tadpole so left it because there was never fish in there ,couple weeks later i go and look in the pond for frogs and .see fish ,i think how did this hapen i catch one to see ,it was a fish ,so i though how did this get here ,then i thought my dad bought it so i asked him and he said he didnt. so i asked every one they did not know anything either. so i emptied the pond and found forty babies and some big ones ones ,these looked like a gold fish i had and .then it struck me my dad put the plant cover from my big pond to my mall pond and he brought eggs with it what apleasant surprise

A friend of mine who unfortunately no longer keeps fish once got a Brichardi with his intended purchase of Pristellas. It actually survived and grew for a few months before unfortunately dying, probably because his tank was not nearly Rift lake conditions...
