Its difficult to move a 4 foot by your own, I moved mine by myself it is not really heavy when not filled. If your can afford a 4 foot rather go with one. bigger is always better :) more fish more plants :)

I really want to go for the bigger one just don't want to brake it, and I do have anyone to help move it once I get It delivered. and I have a few steps before getting it into my room.

Honestly either would take two people to maneuver comfortably.

Depends how big YOU are lol
I can move 3ft tanks around quite easily. Just be careful going through doors. Never tried a 4ft.
Go for the bigger one and ask a mate to help out.....

@Lee , if they delivering it for you, wh not ask them to help you put it where it is meant to go?

If they happy to provide a delivery service, I cant see they would refuse to help you put it in place

I also agree that money for money if you can, go with the 4ft
The extra space makes a big difference once you start stocking it and the extra water is a big help in keeping parameters right...
Good luck and keep us posted

Can't agree more with what has been said. The bigger the better. I don't think the weight is the biggest issue here but more the size of the tank. R20 is a very good bargaining tool.

4ft is fine to carry alone, I moved mine with no hassle a few times. You can even slide it around on a towel.

@Lee, not sure who stays out your way that could possibly help but I am pretty sure that whoever delivers it will put it in place for you

If you buy a fridge or washing machine and they deliver, they also put it where you ask them to

Just prepare everything and have the place where you want it ready to make it easy for them to just put it in place for you

It's more about the awkwardness than strength. I can't carry my 60cm cube alone, it's not heavy, I just can't get my arms around it as it presses into my neck at the top.

My wife helped me carry my 4ft into the lounge from my back porch last night. From the porch it went down one step, then up four steps, then up one more into the house, then down three into the lounge then lifted it up onto the new mount I built on Saturday. She is around 1,5m short and I was the one puffing like a steam engine afterwards..........
