We have baby swords

    We have baby swords (born 2 Aug ) they are getting to big for the baby trap. Should I get a bigger tank for them +/- 20L,

    And your Balloon mollies did the funky monkey earlier today, so I think there is also babies on the way. What is the duration of the mollies being pregnant. The swordail mamma only lived for 2 days in your tank. so I wouldnt now...

    Hi Rickus

    Gestation is 3 weeks tops! I had mollies that bred every few weeks. They grow faster when fed crushed cichlid pellets. In 1 week they will be 1.5cm if they are fed on it. I noticed that they drop fry in cooler temperatures rather than warm temperatures. They also like to drop when there is little or no light.
