Water test kits which on to use

    Hello All.

    I need some info on water test kits.

    I just want the 3 basic tests ammonia, nitrite and nitrate Sera apparently has one that test those 3.

    Any info on this.

    I dont want to buy the Tetra 6-1 kit as I am not really bother about hardness etc.

    Please advise.

    Don't waste money on the strips. Rather buy the ones where you need to mix chemicals in. Test strips are known for inaccuracies

    Yes please zoom any specific kits you can recommend. I was think of getting Sera seperate liquid test for nitrite and nitrate as I do have a Seachem Ammonia alert in my take which actually does work.

    The reading on it changes from alert to safe over the last day.

    Tetra or Sera drop testers are fine
    There is another brand "digi - gram?" im dont quite remember
    the product that is related to bio digest
    Its a blue box with marine pictures.
    I say anything that comes in little bottles that look like eye drops.

    I'm a firm supporter of Api Masters.

    PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check expiry date on bottom of the box when buying. If it's expired, it's unreliable.
