    Don't do water changes....it sux :)

25% is normally the recommendation per week, not per fortnight. That is of course, std practice/best practice, but I know quite a few people who don't really do water changes often (or sometimes, not at all) because of their tank water being nicely balanced & healthy.

I think he's talking about the actual way of doing a water change as apposed to the amount!?

I just use a 10mm tube and a 50L drum, take some time but it does the job with relatively no mess!

Quite right mongs....he was actually asking what's the easiest way :)

Well I still do it the old fashion way (siphoning tube + bucket + carrying water around etc etc).

Buy yourself a gravel vac....your LFS will know what to give you. That's your vacuum cleaner for the aquatic world....pretty easy to use too.

Cleaning of the 'gravel' should be part of your water changes. Rocks...only clean them if you must.

Depending on the size and make anything from around R25 to R125. A very worthwhile investment :)

Do you vacuum all of the gravel or just in portions of it.
