Hmm I see tropica has it, does anybody bring true tropica plants in or is it to expensive?

Not meant as a thread high-jack.

 

The only tropica plants I've seen here are "smuggled in"... Never seen any in a store...

The price of Downoi is pretty close to that...

Last I saw was R50 for a single plant. If you want a carpet of Downoi you're in for a shock!

 

I'm ready for that shock!! I'd get about 4 of them and clip then when they grow to carpet the tank.

Em...might take a while. They grow pretty slowly. But let me know your progress. I am currently experimenting with a riccia carpet, just because I want to avoid the usual glosso, HC or hairgrass carpets you see in every second tank. This may interest me.

I've spoken to him, but his haven't sent out new stems yet. I'm sure it wont take too long... But yeah. Really looking forward to this plant.
