Still on the hunt for Killifish eggs that can be mailed to me. Anyone breeding out there willing to part with eggs. I am in Western Cape. Helderberg area.

Cant find anyone reliable myself in south africa who has Killifish eggs for sale. If you find someone pls let me know aswell

Just as a matter of interest...
I always smile when I see how everyone wants and battles to get Killifish eggs in SA..
Brings back memories of the few years I spent in Mozambique.. I must have been 12..13..
And it was fascinating....
Every year a week or two after the first rains, every pool.. every deep ditch on the sides of the roads.. anywhere where water accumulated in the rain season
you suddenly had millions of little killifish of the most varied and stunning colors..
At the end of the rainy season as everything dried up.. they were all gone.... and the next year as sure as anything after the first rains all the eggs hatched again and once again we had millions of these little guys everywhere...

I have no idea what species they all were... but us kids were fascinated with this miracle..
