Wanted:different types of mosses and other nice plants

Hi guys.i'm looking for different types of moss for my tank..erect moss etc.already have java moss..looking for any other nice types.also looking for ludwigia and/cabomba.I'm located in cape town

Please count me in, i would also like some moss. Cabomba is really nice. Does anyone know where to find riccia? I've got a two meter log that needs a blanket.

 

Please tell me more!! Why would I want moss in my tank? Beneficial for? Advantages and disadvantages...

the main ones are the usual removal of ammonia/nitrates, its great for cover/breeding of fish and looks really cool...

cons; is a mission to trim and ends up all over your tank.

Oh and SARF just remembered if you still have that Ram I will swap you over 10 different types of moss "some VERY rare" for it, what you say?

Its taken two years of intense searching to get that many types, I also have afew more that my stocks are too low to trade like;
Plagiomnium affine
Fissiden fontanus
but now Iv come to realize it doesn't really work keeping lots of different kinds, it looks far better with lots of one or two types (my favorite being flame and spiky)

Hey man your best bet would be to contact leaquat (Altum) under the sponsors section, he gets in loads of really nice mosses every now and then and Im sure he would be happy 2 ship..
