vocanic rock?

    Okay so i have heard that volcanic rock not only has aesthetic power but also some special powers which are favourable for malawis.....
    any comments?:wondering:

    Volcanic rock?

    Used as a filter media. It also buffers the water to alkaline levels ie good for Rift lake cichlids
