    hi guys

    yep the asians LOVE their arowana.. the colourful ones go for rediculous amounts.. and to think that they eat arowana in south america!!

    dude.. u shoulda gotten urself a co2 regulator there!!! they dirt cheap and they work same as SA(220v)

    no laughing.. imo its bad luck to laugh at noobs.. unless they keep making the same mistake after u tell them ofcourse :p

    CO2 regulator is used in planted tanks. it suppliments the plants in the tank with carbon so they grow fast and nice ;) u know, photosynthesis?

    in ur second planted tank pic- that stuff bubbling from the round object, isnt a fancy oxygen diffuser, its a co2 diffuser..if u notice, many of those plants were giving off small bubbles? thats oxygen..

    @oscar freak, they sell LOTS of them.. trust me.. they r mal for these fish.. but saying that, they prob have the cheapest fish in the world.. except for where they come from that is :p

    you would think with all the breeding they doing that side the price would have come down by now,there doesnt seem to be a shortage.

    mostly the red arowana are very expensive because chinese beleive it brings good luck to them. even juveniles are like 3000 and 4000 rand. the sillver are very cheap for small ones 200 to 300 bucks.but generally the flowerhorns and arowana are expensive there. the other common cichlds not very expensive

    Thanks @LOLY Dit was baie lekker om te kyk. Ek wens ek kan rond tour in chinese aquarium. Hul doen baie goeie kwaliteit water en farm visse. Ja Asian arowana is baie duur. dit is nog al snaaks nie maklik farm op aquarium dit kom meeste van pond of wild. Ek wonder oor wat is die prys van hul stingray? Leopoldi stingray.
