    Hello to all

My wife is growing veggies at the moment and I was wondering if the water I take out of the tank when I vacuum the sand will be good to use for the veggies? A bit of recycling if you will.

    Cheers
    Luke

I use my water change water for my plants and veggies nearest to the tank room and you can see how much greener everything is there compared to the rest of the garden. Especially the muck when you clean your filters, it’s gold to plants.

hmmm ... all depends what you put into your fish tank. Keep an eye out for medicine or additives - if the label warns you about other pets or ponds then your tanks water should not be used on your veggie garden. If you only feed clean food with no colourants or crazy growth additives, then you should be OK.

I feed with Tetra flakes, bloodworm(occasionally) and blanched zucchini.

Additives only include Seachem Flourish Excel.
