Vailant Gourami

    I was browsing the internet the other day when I saw the valiant gourami. I heard that they like soft and really acidic water. Does anyone have any experience with keeping them and where I can get a small group of them. I haven't seen them ever in a LFS.

    @AKovarsky: They are popularly known as Chocolate Gourami, and you do get them locally, usually Loolilock imports them. They are hard fish to keep as they need perfect water conditions to survive and thrive in. Also importing them add a lot of tress so the fatality rate is really high:

    Yeah they are really nice just a pity they are so sensitive and expensive....last time I saw them they were asking R 80 a fish.
