Can't remember if I already did this post, but can't seem to find one??

Just thought I'd ask if anyone cares to share where their username comes from??

I'm always interested to know how people decide on their names??

I'll go first...

They call me big G because I'm Big (6'2" and 120KG's!) and my name begins with G!!

When I was about 13 years is was really cool to chat online on a program called "Pirch". My dad use to let me chat for 30 minutes every evening to people all over the world (and he sat next to me monitoring.. not so cool). You weren't allowed to use your real name, and my dad gave me an online name of Zoom... mostly because of my personality in that I like to do everything at high-speed. (You may have already noticed that a lot of my posts have wierd and wonderful spelling errors due to the speed I type... and not checking!).

And ever since then whenever I need to put in a user name, I stick to Zoom. I very seldom have a problem with it being taken... and I never forget what it is!

 

I first used my username when I started playing online poker....

Basically Kiazer is German for king and G as my surname starts with a G hence 'King G' but with a german twist.

sounds better when you're in a poker environment haha

 

our family name comes from Vuuren, a small town/village with lots of waterways where they made use of ferry boats to get around alot. . . a ferry boat operator/navigator is a ferryman. . . i also liked the olden stories of needing to pay the ferryman to cross the river of live/death with silver coin so he can take your soul across, dont forget to pay the ferryman!

My nick name is Jesse and my name surname begins with G...i tend to stick with one username as well just like Zoom, my memory is shot from all the mind altering substances,lol...
