URGENT!! - Fluval 406 Filter

Hey guys

First of all this is a double post as i put my first one in equipment reviews my bad!! mods please fix??

A mate of mine offered me a fluval 405 filter brand new for 1800 rand!! new on online south african stores 3300 rand!!
Offer only lasts till the end of today!! he has another buyer but gave me the right of first refusal!!

I was gonna go tetra tec but i only get 1200litres per hour, whereas fluval gives me 1500, not to mention to get tetra tec to actually get 1200 litres an hour i need to change the pipes!!

So i just want to know are these filters

Reliable??

strong ??

I currently use a Fluval 204. It's awesome. Just have to prime it properly and wash the sponge out often.
I would say go for it. It will always come in handy.

 

Thanks !! yep i have bought it !! gonna use it in one of my projects, its for a 300 litre tank .

 

also where can i get parts for it if it breaks??
