I got 4 glowlights from the LFS at the weekend and I have just discovered 1 tiny extra fish in my tank. not sure what it is yet as it's too small to tell, more than likely it is another glowlight.
I can't seperate it from the others as I have no where to put it, but it seems to be happy enough, It even stays near the khuli loaches when they are flying from end to end of the tank.

why are they flying around? Do the khulis have a place to hide? I'm asking because I've owned a troupe of them for a few years and have learned they need a "nest" - best in my exp is a rock elevated about half a cm off the substrate (they seem to like a tight fit)

I can't remember what else was in the tank at the LFS.
The Khuli's have 5 different places they take their rest in but over the last three weeks they have started to come out to play every couple of hours then they will fly around the tank for about an hour at a time

How many of the sweeties (khuklis) do you have? And is one of those places to their choosing? Please understand that I'm not judging - I struggled a bit at first with mine - they flew around - it isn't their nature, that's why I'm asking.

At present - my crew lives beneath the silliest crevice - but they're happy - and are seldom seen  only trying to help

we only have two of them, their favourite place is inside a sea shell, they are normally in there together. And they do seem to be happy But I know I have a lot to learn still and am always open to advice

I did actually get two more small khuli's but they didn't survive more than a day and I have no idea why.
I have also found another baby glowlight (at least I think it is) in the tank today, we are quite excited about them.
