tropical pool

was doing water change last nigh and wondered

1: is it possible to convert a pool into a large pond lets say if the heating question is resolved and huge filtration is added

2:the real question .would you be able to swim in there still .the water would surley be clean enough for visabilaty and not bad for your health.

a can just imagine swimming under water and having the big O s chase me from there spot and the GTs and arrow come to check me out ?

almost like diving in lake malawi after a while the fish dont seem to mind you. ?

There is reason to my madness .
As im in the gym industry we very often take over old gyms that cant survive and ive found a old gym site with a huge heated indoor pool .the site is a no go for gym its to close to my existing prem .but figure it could make an awsome exotic fish store

Indoor pool that is just a big tank imagine the size of the oscars and silver dollars and if you could get plants to grow... dam it would look insane..

i think it would be awsome nevermind a show tank .a show pool 25m by 10m by 1.5m .the question i guess is how much money can you make as a lfs. with out staff and stock i would need to do 100k just to pay rent and elec somehow im sure if that is feasable

 

Storm, I've often wondered about converting my pool into an aquarium and going snorkling in it. Alas the cost would be huge to heat the pool, and keeping it clean and algae free would be a nightmare.

you could use MH lighting for the plants if the pool is indoors.
