Trimming Java Moss

    Hi All,

    I am new to keeping moss, i received some java moss a few weeks ago and would like to trim it but when do i know it needs trimming and can i use normal scissors to do the trimming also will the trimmings grow if i attach it to another peace of wood

    The trimmings will grow on another piece of wood. a normal pair of scissors will work but may damage the moss if not sharp the best to use are hair scissors or surgical tissue scissors

    I wonder if one can make glass scissors,that way they won't rust.

    @gerrit no prob
    @ stormer u get glass knives sharper than scalpels but stainless steal wont rust very easily either

    I hope not, there is so much of it in the country already how do they stop it... Here we go again

    No, its not on the plant blacklist so obviously it is allowed

    I don't know if it is black listed, all i know is it looks great in a tank!!!!
