Wanted: tree root type drift wood

hi guys,

can anyone suggest where i can find driftwood of this type....

most dbn stores just keep flat pieces that do nothing for visual appeal.

if anyone has something smlr to the pics below and is based either in dbn or jhb can you please let me know.

my bro lives in midrand and works in bruma.....so he's able to go to most places within reasonable distances to collect, and im in durban and will drive around locally to collect also.

the wood will be used in a std dimension 4 ft tank...without a canopy...so height isn't an issue....would like a nice large piece.

yeah the 2nd one might need a tank from ushaka aquarium, lol.

surely someone has access to proper driftwood like this.....i have a nice "spike" driftwood piece but need alot more to achieve the look i want.

the mangrove root look is also perfect if i can find that.

 

lfs in umgeni rd has/had a piece of spider wood for you.
R600 it was, saw it abt two weeks ago , been there a while tho.
