    Hi all

So today i'm finally fetching the Juwel tank I purchased from @fhmarais.

It had a sump hole but he sealed it with a plug. But the plug sticks out at the bottom of the surface meaning I can't just place it on a flat surface as it will have the plug in it's way at the bottom corner. We will have to carry it down from stairs and then the cabinet..would it be best to put the cabinet at the back of the bakkie and then the tank positioned onto it?
@fhmarais has transported the tank alone upside down onto the cabinet with success.. It has a brace but i'm quite confused and scared to do it this method..

Here is a pic attachedJuwelll.jpg of the tank's top design and here is the following link- JUWEL® Aquarium | Vision 180 black

    Any advice will be appreciated

I think it will be fine when upside down on a blanket or such...

How far does the plug protrude? You could just put it onto styrofoam or some planks to raise up surely? Definitely not on the cabinet.

I would just transport it upright on 2 tyres. Should be easy as pie.

    +1

I'd also transport it upright. No doubt about that.

I presume the bottom of the tank has a double layer of glass.
I would buy a thick sheet, or several thinner ones of styrofoam and cut a hole in it to accomodate the protruding plug, and keep the tank with the heavy base upright on the styrofoam - making sure that it stays level.Even slices of styrofoam cut into 'railway sleepers' as long as the tank's weight is distributed EVENLY on any pressure point that it stands on. OR, styrofoam again cut into long thin strips, and put the rim of the tank onto these strips so the tank is then up-side-down.As long as all the weight is distributed evenly. Good luck
