tired of seeing dead fish

hey to all. Im tired of waking up in the morning and seeing a dead fish in my tank. I have check the amonia and chloor level all seem to be fine. Doing weekly wc due to ei dosing. Its only my guppies, mollies, danios and barbs dying this way. Angels, corrys and my synodotis is doing good. Plz help me to solve the mistery

Have you checked your ph?
What is your water hardness and is your ph perhaps fluctuating?

 

Hmm, how big are the angels? Angels are cichlids and will eat or kill smaller fish. If the tank is cycled and all is good with the water then, the angels could be trying to have a midnight snack?

 

Im from hennenman-welkom free state. Not sure about the hardness of the water but ph goes around 7.6-7.2. 1 angel are fully grown difficult to say exact size unless i try to post some pics of it next to the other fish. Can angels really be so eager to feed on live prey even if i give them chiclid pellets/flakes?

 

Yes the will try eat them.but 7.6 to 7.2 ph is quite a big drop

 

it aint a big drop when using co2 for the plants
