Few things read true to me when I read this article ..

1) a power outage (lack of circulation) does not kill your filter media - well not all of it so chill
2) yes .. a hungry fish is a happy fish, to much over feeding causes more problems esp in new tanks
3) and this one I need to ponder - so do you only have to add the micobes to the water once then they will always be present? (if so does this mean we should be getting smaller bottles of the stuff and dose less frequently ? - no clue since I have not yet added any microbes to my tanks - well none bought form a LFS as an intentional additive

We have a lot of power cuts, sometimes for 24 hours and i always stress what will happen to my fish but everytime when the power is on again everything is ok SO thank you for this link it answers a lot of my questions!!!!

 

Me as a noob learned a boat load
Not so paranoid anymore
But I will definitely not shoot down seachem,bio vital and henk Hugo, stuff
Going from dead fish to zero mortality ,the stuff does work
