Hi my fellow fish keepers, so yes I am back after over 2 years out of the hobby.
Lots changes in my life and I am back with a lower tech setup. Me and my wife are really excited about our Tank, getting some angels on the weekend and more plants.

It is a 4 foot tank with braces and sliders etc.
Added a nice dark blue background
    I use PFS for substrate
    1 x 150w heater
1 x 200w heater each of them on opposite sides of the tank for better heat movement
    Currently running the following filters
    1 x 350 Liter Eheim Internal filter
1 x 500 Liter Eheim Internal filter I will be modding them this weekend eheim filter sponge at the bottom then
some Seachem Matrix then sponge again and then some filter floss then sponge again, this method has been working nicely for me in the past.

Fishes are a nice vairety of tetras and some mini dwarf neons, will still add the proper names of all the fishes.

Running 1 x T8 tube currently and only 2 x Amazon Swords will be getting more plants on the weekend wont have more then 5 or 6 species in this tank.

This is what it looked like at the beginning

And this is what it looks like currently after adding some nice wood and rocks.

Very nice look! What light do you have in there? It looks very purple, but makes colours pop nicely.
The Amazon swords are root feeders and will probably need some root tabs or pfp for long term growth.

    What fish have you added?
The darker finish does look good.
