Wow. How do you do this with 2 kids? I get home at 18h00. Then it's bathtime-story time etc with my 3yr old until 19h00-20h00. Supper...Bath..Bugger! It's 21h30/22h00. I'm too worn out at the moment to tackle my tanks at that time!

We also get home around 18h00, we are done with supper and stuff around 19h00 they both bath together. My wife puts our 2 year old girl to sleep on Wednesday and the oldest one 7 years old going on 8 next month.

Goes to bed at 20h00 and my wife dont mind me spending time on Wednesday evenings, she normally also goes to bed a bit earlier then it is just me and the tanks:nuts:

My little forest 3 footer, is less work sort him out on Sunday afternoon.

Just a little trim here and their and the 45 liter water change and 1 2 3 done.

    Quick update!!!

    Hi my fellow green fingers,

My stunning Staurogyne SP Bihar these 2 stems where about 15cm long when I planted them which was around 2 months ago, currently it is about 50-60cm tall.

The Amazon sword on the left is also around 50-60cm tall really excellent health.

@The BARB King. Do you have any trimmings? That you want to get rid of?

LOL their is o dumb question dude  yes using pressurized co2 with a inline co2 reactor

Co2 is beyond awesome the best you can do for you plants.

Co2 then nutrients/ferts and proper distribution and flow then lights.

Ok cool! Pity its so expensive.

I want to rescape my tank completely and try planted again. I'm just waiting for my wood to soak.....

    Quick update

    Hi my fellow green fingers.

Nice update from the Puntius Effect, all is growing back nicely after the huge trim a couple of weeks ago.

Currently running less lights and the plants are growing very well, since I have been doing the ramp up and down of lights.

    I am running only 2 x 80w tubes from 15h00 till 21h30, I have my 2 x 54w tubes running from 14h00-15h00 and then also from 18h00 till 19h00 at 21h30 my 2 x 80w tubes go off and the 2 x 54w tubes go on till 22h05

My Amazon sword is nearly touching the surface at around 70-75cm tall  everything has been growing much better with the lower lights.

    Enjoy.
