    Good Day all.

Hope you all having a good start to the new year.

Wouldn't say I am new to the hobby, but been out of it so long I am learning all over again.

Looking at starting a new tank soon, so looking forward to the advice and suggestions.

    Have a great week all.

    Welcome welcome!

Loads of advice can be found here so you're deffs in the right place.

Maybe to help narrow down some good advice/suggestions would be to get an idea of what you'd like to do for your future tank? Maybe you have an idea of size, or stocking? Maybe an idea of how hi-tech you're willing to go (such as planted with fancy LEDs and full CO2 system or as simple as possible with basic substrate and low needs plants)?

I was not sure if I was allowed to post those details in the intro section, so I created a post to it in the general section (tropical)

I have heard good things about this forum so know the info given will be solid.

Can't wait to be part of the fish keeping fam again

Welcome back to fish keeping and to the forum too.

What fish do you have or are you looking to keep.

    Thank you.

Was looking at something like this:

    2x Ornate Ctenopoma
    2x Ctenopoma Acutirostre
    2/3x Amatitlania Nigrofasciata (Female preferably)

1x Polypterus Ornatipinnis and/or 1x Albino Polypterus Senegalus

But seem to be getting a lot of resistance to the idea ... XD

I don't know much about cichlids, although at some point I would like to keep shellies.

Fish availability seems to have changed also, maybe it's just here in East London.

Definitely noticed that a lot more fish seem super hard to get compared to years back.

I still gotta check the ban list, XD
