The new 1.6

Hey guys,

I recently got a new 1.6M tank (1.6X60X70) and we started setting it up today. we painted 3 sides and and replace the base board of the tank... add some potting soil and now we are busy washing 120kgs of river sand... yayness....

We plant on running 6x 80watt T5s ( still need to figure that one out) with a canister filter - i'll most prob take the Eheim Pro3e off the 2.5 as its only being used to polish the water....

Love to see the photos - I saw the tank before you started, and man that required SOME cleaning .........

 

yup yup - its got about a L of black PVA on it now

I really want to add a school op leopard danios but we will see.... believe it or not but i have never kept them....

Plant wise i plan on these... but i might cut it down...

yea it did - but well worth it - i'm going to build a temp light unit day and then go hunt for some 80watt ballasts
