Thanks SAPS!!!

listen to this. my car gets stolen at half past 6 this evening from somerset mall parking lot! Now i'm very fond of this car, its a 1980 ford cortina! In spotless condition! this is honestly the most looked after cortina in sa, so you can understand why i was beyond furious!!! Well i saw my car drive away on the security tape exactly 90 seconds before i got out the mall. Anyway long story short i recieve a phone call half an hour ago from a off duty inspector from michells plain that wants to buy a 1980 ford cortina regesterd in my name!!!! Believe it or not this ass actualy tried to sell my car to a off duty cop!!!
the cop called the station first to check if it was a stolen car and so he got hold of my number. The blik@#$%^m who stole my car got sniff in the nose and ran away but at least my car is on its way to the police station!!!

I'm in the cops myself, in a township east of Pretoria. I'm glad they got your car, but the bugger will do it again, to you or some one else. 1 week ago I was on hollywood foot style- Got laptop back before the owner new it's gone. Please write a letter to the guys there. It means much, but positive belief makes no headlines. But for those guys, it will push them to be more awake. We don't want much, but appreciation in a job, where friend don't last.

I had a VW Caddy 1800 Sport bakkie that I bought cheap and fixed to what and the way I wanted it. I could get in and drive anywhere. It was just a cold car that needed to be idled on the cold mornings.

It was raining during the night and the next morning that I came outside there was just a dry spot where my bakkie was standing.
Never heard of it again

 

That is just heart sore.
Fiancée wrote her car off in goodwood (milton rd) two weeks ago and now searching for new wheels.

 

What a fortunate turn of events for you Schalk! I'm so glad your vehicle has been returned.
