    You know you are officially a fish fanatic and TASA addict when you officially part ways with some $$$$ to a TASA sponsor!

    Dolphin, it was a pleasure meeting you and your lovely wife. Thank you so much for the fish, and the chat. Was so nice to chat with someone who is a fanatic like the rest of us.

    Your setups were stunning, and I know that I will be back!

    For those of you in Jhb, pretoria or nearby... I would highly recommend Quality Aquariums to anyone who is keen. The fish are in excellent condition, the knowledge behind the man is astounding... but be warned... you will be back.

    I liked the idea that Dolphin encouraged us to catch our own fish.
    I loved the fact that he does not let me buy fish if he does not feel the fish are ready to go, or if they are not out of their quarantine period yet.

    I completely agree! I was fortunate enough to meet Dolphin on his visit to Durban recently, and I'm very pleased with the quality of fish I recieved from him as well.

    I must say, the Durban trip was well worth it - found several new breeders and will have some very well priced locally bred fish to offer soon for both retail and wholesale :bigsmile:

    Just finished planting some plants and acclimatising a new fish that I picked up from his shop. Well worth the drive.

    @koosman35 - this is a very old thread (2009). Dolphin used to be a sponsor here, and still pops in now and again, but Quality Aquariums ceased to do business some years ago. They were never based in Durban, but in
    .

    Dolphin made a visit to Durban... hope that helps!
