I have a full range of TFH (Tropical Fish Hobyist) magazines from February 1974 to October 1994, but for some reason, I miss May 1987..... can anybody tell me if that edition was skipped or did I just lose mine?? If someone has this edition available, I'll appreciate.... "we can talk" -

I stopped getting them at that time, (October 1994) cause they switched to reptiles (terrariums and to saltwater fish) and had very little on tropical fw..... they also stopped the last page supplement page which I collected. Are they still publishing??

Yes they are. I receive TFH and Practical Fishkeeping. I prefer Practical Fishkeeping. It has lots of smaller articles so there is always something of interest.

I just wish the stores would carry the stuff. I've even tried Exclusive books for these magazines! CNA are prepared to get it if I open a subscription with them.

I have found that it's cheaper to have a subscription from overseas then what it is to get them from CNA - way cheaper!

Yes... Mine was on subscription... and I was even published a couple of times.... Used to be a great mag before they decided to expand.

There's a new(ish) local magazine out, called the Fishkeeper. It might not be on international standards yet, but I'm sure with time it will become popular. Besides that, if they do well in the shops now, I don't see why the stores will have a problem stocking other magazines - international ones included - in the near future, as well.

I took up their special offer to subscribe to the online version for 1$ per year... here is the link but this special is no longer valid http://www.tfhmagazine.com/subscriptions/ ... they may run it again so keep a lookout. They also offer backissues so you should be able to order the missing one
